On behalf of the Winnipeg Pin Collectors Club I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year.

It is my sincere hope that the year 2013 will prove to be your best year yet. May you be blessed with good health, prosperity and much happiness.

Last year, the pin club celebrated its 25th Anniversary. At a special celebration party on May 7th at the Norwood Legion located in Winnipeg, members were treated to a special anniversary cake (made by Travis Tulyk) and assorted refreshments and deserts. Many of our longterm club members were honored by being given special Loyalty pins to commemorate 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years and 25 years of continuous membership. A slide presentation created by Joan Kolbauer featured photos of club members throughout the past 25 years.

In addition to our monthly meetings, the pin club has many additional activities planned for 2013. Some of these activities include the June 3rd Summer Wind-Up, the annual July 1st Canada Day Pin show at The Forks, the December 3rd Christmas party and the New Year’s Eve brunch at Canad Inns Destination Centre Transcona, 826 Regent Avenue West, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The pin club has something for people of all ages from youths to adults to seniors. If you like to collect pins, then for sure you will have a great time at our events.

It’s a great way to meet new people and have lots of fun at the same time.
